Before Your PhotoFacial with BBL HERO Treatment:

Consultation: Schedule a consultation with our expert providers to discuss your specific skin concerns, assess your eligibility for Skin Lifting, and create a personalized treatment plan.
Avoid Tanned Skin: Do NOT come with tanned skin for your PhotoFacial with BBL Hero. Tanned skin alters treatment accuracy, increasing the risk of burns and complications, rendering us unable to perform the service.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Minimize sun/UV exposure for at least four weeks prior to your Photofacial treatment. Application of SPF during this time is also crucial for your skin safety before your procedure. The use of tanning beds is not recommended before or after this procedure.
Steer Clear of Self-Tanners: Avoid using self-tanners and tinted lotions for a minimum of two weeks prior to your appointment. The presence of artificial tans can elevate the risk of burns and may result in the cancellation of the PhotoFacial treatment.
Discontinue Active Ingredients: Discontinue the use of retinoids, exfoliants, and Acids (AHAs, BHAs, Glycolic, etc.) for one week before the treatment. This helps minimize skin sensitivity during the PhotoFacial.
Discuss medications with your Provider: As a precaution, especially if you are taking blood thinners, antibiotics, or medications that increase the risk of photosensitivity, discuss your medications with your healthcare provider. Those medications may need to be stopped 2-4 weeks before the treatment. Individuals who have recently concluded a course of Accutane should refrain from seeking certain treatments for one year. If you have any questions or concerns, we recommend following the guidance of your healthcare provider.
Consider Prophylactic Medication: If you have a history of fever blisters, take prophylactic medication before the treatment to prevent the onset, as specific procedures can potentially induce fever blisters.
Arrive Makeup-Free: Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin to ensure a smooth and effective PhotoFacial session.
Skin Preparation: Follow any pre-treatment skincare recommendations provided by our specialists.

After Your PhotoFacial with BBL HERO Treatment:

Protect Your Skin: Protect your newly rejuvenated skin by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, and avoid direct sunlight for at least two weeks. Wearing a wide-brimmed hat is also beneficial.
Gentle Skincare: Use gentle cleansers and moisturizers to soothe the treated skin. Avoid using retinoids, exfoliants, acids, and Vitamin C for 7 days after the treatment.
Avoid Heat: Avoid hot baths, saunas, and strenuous exercises for 48 hours post-treatment. Heat can increase skin sensitivity and potentially lead to complications.
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to help your skin heal and regenerate.
Avoid Picking or Scratching: After treatment, avoid picking, scratching, or rubbing the treated area. Allow any crusts to heal naturally to minimize the risk of scarring or pigment changes.
